I love my brother sewing machine it is digital with 59 stitches, it was my first sewing machine and I was 19 years old, had never even turned one on and my husband had to show me how to thread it HA! It holds a lot of sentimental value as well, I just found out I was expecting my son Isaiah when after the purchase as well and we were at my Hub first army duty station Fort Carson too. It has been 6 years since the purchase and even though my brother worked great I was itching for a new one.... soo My hubby got me the Brother sewing and quilting 9050 model and I love it! I've even gotten braver with the decorative stitches! I am a handquilter by heart but when I do small projects such as tablerunners and "mud rugs" to sell or for gifts it has been such a blessing. My sis asked me if I was gonna sell my old brother.. um NO way I love them both :) I told my hub in another 5-6 years maybe I could upgrade to a better brother...he raised his eyebrows on that one lol
