While I love the look of the 3D ... I just plain 'ol don't want more dust catchers around.
When I quilted one I had to design the quilting so as not to flatten the 3D. Not something I really wanted to do ... but I was the one doing the quilting for the quiltmaker.
It seemed to wash really well ... no problems.
