What is even funnier is that the guy advertised that on his business cards. In my circles to be the big dog on the porch means you can't keep up, you can't compete with the big guys in the field so don't even try. The saying I know is "If you can't run with the big dogs then stay on the porch".
Yeah who knows what he meant by it. My impression was that he's the big guy standing on the porch barking loudly, presumably at everyone else. My husband said his impression was that the guy was making fun of all the other people who put initials after their name and no one knows - or cares! - what they stand for. lol
