Hi Karen, I have such a dear friend that lives in Surrey. Actually she invited us to come and stay with her. I met her on a medical support BB. I thought she was very brave to invite us. I credit her for getting me back into quilting, because I made her a wall hanging as a thank you gift for having my son and myself. I LOVED the trip, I can't wait to come back. My husband is an avid gardener, so I know he will love it as well. I was there is 2004, and she came here (Michigan) in 2007.
She also has a son here. It's funny it's cheaper for me to call her in England, than it was to call my mom 10 miles away. Thanks for the welcome. Sass
