Nice!! For the move...take the machine head out of the cabinet!! That thing weighs 30 lbs or so, and that old wood tends to be brittle...the bumps and vibrations are pretty hard on these old girls and the hinges often break when they're transported in one piece like that.

Really nice machine, and I LOVE the cabinet!! :)
The head is actually already out of the cabinet. We live 6 miles up in the mountains on a dirt road so I knew she needed to be out of the cabinet before I started up the road. When I was looking at it the head actually got caught on the cable that lifts it up. The seller said there is a screw that goes on the front of the machine that holds it to the hinges??? I haven't really looked at it so I'm not exactly sure what he was talking about, but DH and I will figure it out once we get moved and settled. If we can't I think there are a few hundred "friends" on this site who can advise.
