I have tried it with rotary blades, and it does work for a while. Faster than changing a blade. I haven't tried it with scissors - but I will. Just didn't occur to me before.

Harbor Freight just opened a store in my little town in CT, so I can buy their blades even easier than before. So now we have Costco and HF - and a BJ's is being built. Why? We're just over the border from NY, have lower sales tax, and just off I84. Easy on and off. Ofcourse, this means even more traffic in my little town. When we moved here 39 years ago (yikes), there were no traffic lights, and we still had several working farms. Now the farms are gone, and I gave up trying to count the traffic lights when I got to 10 ~
