Sarah Grace's mom started it. She wanted to celebrate the day that the baby was first placed in her arms. There was not quite a month in between, so decided to make it two celebrations. As Sallie says - one celebration is not enough. The birthday is basically a Sarah Grace day and Gotcha Day is the Eure families' day - the anniversary of the day they became a 'family'. Such a neat idea.
THat is wonderful to come up with a new family occasion like that. Very original. Love the quilt too!!!!
