Hello! I was near St Mathieu, to the south west of Limoges. I still have a house there. Do you know the quilt shop in Couzeix? I think that was the only one I found around there - not much choice though and very expensive. :?
And yes, I found the French quilters very anti machine sewing, as if it was cheating in some way. I went to a quilt group in St Junien for a while but stopped partly because of that. :-)
I only started teaching here recently - you could always fly over Limoges to Bristol! :lol:
