I love almost anything by Hoffman. I don't set out to buy them, when I pick up the bolts I notice that they are Hoffmans. I buy others, too.
The tie dye look does not work for me. Neither do batiks with all colors splotched together. I like a batik with color flowing between 2 to 4 hues or shades. I like subtle patterns.
Most of the cheaply priced batiks, I do not like at all.
