Anyone else can chime in here too. The more I can promote this quilt the better.
In NH you need a chairitable gaming license to hold a raffle for charity, if that's what your organization is considered, so check VT state law before you go too much further.
ETA: I'm sure the university has the ability to 'sponsor' a raffle of any kind...though maybe not one held by a parent long distance. Are you planning to do the major showing in Vermont or in Virginia, where more people are familiar with the cause?
