Here are a couple pictures of a machine embroidered baby quilt I recently quilted for a friend. I also considered cross hatching thru the embroidery. She specifically asked for NO cross hatching. I used it as a practice for my background fills. I have seen them done with cross hatching and I thought they looked great.
