Having just done a quilt with add ons, it was not easy. I love it and is nice on a quilt, but when I quilt mine, they just get in the way and if you do an intense quilt design, it gets tacked down and ruins either the needle, the timing in the machine or the fluff of the addon. Personally, I do not want them on, I would rather add on later.

I think the stocking is adorable. If others want add ons, I can go without and be swapped with something else if they like them. Not trying to be picky here, I just do longarm quilting and my machine is not friendly with add ons and if I do an allover pantograph, I have to remove them or ruin the design a bit to be sure not to hit them.
