I'm with centering them. If your brother likes deer, he will love the quilt no matter what you do. So stop stressing. Done and in his hands is best. He will love it because of the subject and the fact that you were kind enough to do it especially for him. Plus it is really turning out pretty as you have it hung there.

I found these panels and wanted to make a quilt for my brother. I'm making it up as I go and now it's getting on my "last nerve"! The two thin panels (top and bottom) are not the same length as the four deer panels. I have them just pinned sort of in the middle but they are bugging me. Should I line them up even on one side to match or just leave them in the middle? This is supposed to be a Christmas present but at this rate, I don't know when I'll finish.
