The dogs decided I should listen to the two who weren't out walking with dad complain about the two who were, lol, and then they switched. Sheesh. I got up and checked out stuff on the computer, and looked up a couple of yard sales.
I found a sale where I bought two yards of nice fabric on a bolt that she had used for upholstrey, and not sure what the other was/is, but have 2 1/2 yds of it, and it is going to make WONDERFUL dog beds. Spent $2 on that, and .50 on a couple sample books with great little fabric pieces in it.
At another sale, I picked up 6 outdoor cushions for our plastic chairs. My butt is not skinny, but apparently it is getting tender in my old age, lol. But the best buy, I think, is the beautiful cabinet for my sewing machine. Naturally, it had to have the back part that holds the machine is gone (just what do they do with those?) but the rest of the cabinet is beautiful, and she sold it for $10. I can't seem to ever throw away any extra shelves from anything, so we had a nice smooth shelf to cut to size to place over the hole. My new Kenmore is now sitting at a right angle to my other machine, lol. Dh never said a word.
It started raining right after we got home, and the power has been on and off twice. As soon as it came back on this last time, I made coffee. Just in case it goes off again, lol. MUST HAVE COFFEE. Believe it or not, that was the worst part of the hurricanes for me...no coffee.
