12 stitches later .... and 6 weeks I couldn't quilt on my project!! And a year later, I have to try and find a bigger thimble because the scar prevents my thimble from fitting correctly now.
I injured my middle finger on my left hand. The under finger? It's the finger that I use under the quilt to feel how far the needle has gone through. (This is another example of me being stupid.) I got it stuck in the electric hedge clippers. 6 stitches! 5 yrs ago. For a while I had to use my ring finger under the quilt! If the needle touches the scar I don't feel it & get a bigger stitch. :-(
I don't envy you looking for another thimble!
