This quilt is what I made to donate to a fundraiser for CDH. CDH is an absence of a childs diaphragm or a hole in the diaphragm. The stomach, intestines, liver and spleen may go through the hole. This prevents the lungs from developing. The fundraiser is called Caden's Carnival. It is a carnival atmosphere to raise money for CDH in the name of Caden Frericks. He was born with this and unfortunately passed away shortly after his birth. His parents have held this fundraiser since his passing. My local quilt shop did the quilting as a donation to the fundraiser. It is A to Z quilting in Quincy, Illinois. The event is being held October 23. Hope they raise a lot of money.
