The reason she ironed the fabric onto freezer paper is because that made the soft fabric stiff and easy to write onto. She had the freezer paper on the underside and wrote on the fabric. She pulled the freezer paper off, after she wrote onto the fabric. However, she didn't show how to attachthe label or turn under the edges or maybe add a fabric border around it,etc. So her method really didn't impress me at all. You could go on Utube and watch quilt label making videos there.
