HeatNBond is a fusible web - paper on one side. You iron your applique on it, cut it out, tear the paper backing off, then iron it to the backing...instant applique! Then you can machine sew around the piece with a buttonhole stitch or something similar, and your applique piece is done! Easy-peasy!
