One change that you need to make to really be successful is to eliminate the word "diet" as a weight loss method. A diet will never work and last. Once you go back to "normal" eating the weight is going to come right back.

The only way to be successful is to change eating habits and get some kind of exercise. Exercise is any kind of movement. I bounce my feet when I am at my notebook and make sure that I get any movement that I can.

When I fold the laundry, I don't pile it high in my arms and distribute. I take the wash cloths and put them away, go back and get the hand towels and put them away, go back and get the bath towels and put them away and so on. It really adds up. I do the same when I put the dishes away.
