We have catnip growing in the vegetable garden so our girls can get their own whenever they want.
Mostly they try to lie down on the plants and roll on them.
Which is to teach me to put the catnip plants at the edge of the garden, to minimize the damage.
And that has an extra bonus in that the deer don't like "smelly plants" so the catnip, garlic, and lemon balm act as (tiny) deterrents.
