WOW ! What is lefse? It is a norwegian 'goodie'. It is rolled out like pie crust only thinner. You butter it and put white or brown sugar on it, roll it up and eat! Some also use it when eating lutefisk. Don't suppose you have heard of that either. It is fish. You put a lefse on a plate, put mashed potatoes on top of that, then the lutefisk and cover that with melted butter. Some say they then roll it up to eat but I can't imagine how they would do that!
I like the lefse - not the lutefisk.
Our church is sponsoring a lutefisk supper Oct 20th. Meatballs are also served at these suppers as not everyone likes lutefisk. $15 for a ticket for the meal. The desserts are a variety of norweigian pastries,

We made 80 dozen lefse on Sept 24th about 30 of us - I worked from 8 am and got home at 5 pm.
