If he did I'd point out the unfinished painting in the dining room, the unfinished ceiling redo in the kitchen, the carpet in the entry that was supposed to be changed to wood a few years ago, the bathroom floor that still doesn't have the trim put on, etc etc and I could go on and on all day. DH has a problem with finishing projects that is much worse than the one I have (and yes, I have the same problem).

men do things like that around the house? Not here. I'm just back downstairs after being called on to fix DH's 1890 recliner after the screws worked out of the reclining adjustments. Not to be retro-sexist but I'd get a lot more sewing done if I wasn't doing fix-its in a very, very old home.
