So happy that you fessed up and talked to your DH...he didn't know! They can't help in the right way when they don't know what to do. Sounds like things are rolling in the right direction now.
For future reference...if you have a computerized machine...please take it in to the pro's for service...taking apart any of the computer part is a bad thing to do unless you have a "static free" area and the proper tools.
