I would buy a sheet of 'no-melt' template mylar from Joann and cut with an exacto knife and punch a hole in center with a hole punch... Mylar sheets are 8-1/2 x 11" (some bigger) and with some carefull planning could get quite a few out of one sheet....you just use them to iron the hexagon around to 'shape' them before sewing...
