I learned to knit when I was 10 years old and I still love it. While watching TV with DH in the evenings, I'm always knitting or crocheting something. I can't sit still and just watch....it feels like I'm wasting time that could be put to better use!
I have to be doing something, too - especially since DH is a channel surfer and doesn't stay in one program long enough to get into it! When the weather first turns rainy like this, I get out a set of knitting needles but other than straight knitting, I need to really concentrate on it to get it right. Now I have a Kindle so have been reading that, or play games on my laptop. I can't just sit there and stare at the TV, I go to sleep!
