here is a handy hint that i have used. if the seam is too bulky and you can't press it flat, get a hammer!! i mean it, it works. lay it on a flat surface with a pressing cloth to keep it clean on both sides and give it a bang! i just had to do that to a rising star that i couldn't get the bulk out of.
