Especially since it's for a mini-quilt exchange. It will only be about 18" x 24" so weight isn't really a problem.
yes it came out fine - my quilting stitches were kinda small because i had such a hard time moving the quilt around but thats the only bad thing i could say.
you should be completely fine considering the size of your quilt.
