Boy! I am so glad I found you. I have been wanting to make the Carpenter Star for quite some time but couldn't follow directions. You made it soooooo easy. Thank you. I am new to quilting and have made a number of quilt blocks but darn I couldn't get this one until I found you.
I do have a question. Your picture is pink,blue and white and very pretty,but how do you tell which color is light or dark. I want to do one like yours but I also would like to do one in Christmas colors of red,green and white. Which would be light red or green if they are both bright colors or doesn't it matter?
