I made a mistake once on a quilt for a nephewand his wife, and a neice saw it right off, pointed it out to everyone (I wasn't there, I'd already given it away) and after that it was the talk of the family. After a year I asked for it back and I'll fix it, but the original recipient doesn't want it back... it's tainted forever for all of them. I intend to fix it and use it for dh and myself.
I'd fix it !!!!!! I'm making an entirely different style of quilt for them, after talking to them about style and favorite colors.
