Oh Dee, it is beautiful. I can hardly wait to see it in person. Just to clarify the history, this is one of six quilt tops I made from blocks that my sister-in-law's mother hand pieced in the 1930's. My sister-in-law found them in a bag at the bottom of a cedar chest and wanted five tops made for her children. This top is a mixture of the blocks that were left from the other tops. There were 42 of the Grandmothers Fan blocks and 42 of the 4-pointed star blocks. I was honored to be asked to piece tops so that the blocks were used. Thank you for making this top a reality and I love it and know that my sister-in-law will also.
