Lovely. I like the finish you've done on your binding. I will be trying that myself on my next quilt. I have been sewing in down by machine from the front of the quilt and catching the edge at the back. I saw Ellinor Burns doing it. I have been quite pleased with the results so far. Never thought of using that stitch, it's very neat.
This time I sewed it down on the back, then folded it to the front and did the finish stitch. Love to do it that way! And its sew easy seeing as these are all for the people I love! Luckily my machine enables me to "reverse" my blanket stitch, etc. stitch so I can sew in the ditch and have it go over into the binding.
