Your bowls are gorgous. May I ask how you secure the fabric when you wrap the cording ahead of time. Do you use glue and if so what kind of glue.

You can use close pins or tacky glue(that's my favorite to use). My mom was using elmers glue. Both of them are easy to sew through. I haven't tried any other glues yet.
