When I had my smaller machine, my DH found an old sewing machine cabinet that was in pretty good shape, got it really cheap. Cut an opening for the machine and then put a lift in to put it up and down, but only put it level to top of table, never in the complete down position, so a bracket shelf would have worked. Perhaps you can find something like that.
