Greenini travel report: It RAINED all night long and of course we were camped on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Otter Creek. The creek was up, but not as far as the bus...I felt bad for the folks down from us in the tent :thumbdown:

We made it to Salem Va to visit some friends and have dinner with them and are holed up in a motel to give Mr Ray some cat stretching room....2 nights ago we spent all evening chasing chipmunks away from him, it was like we'd parked in chipmunk town. There were also 2 resident bucks that allowed folks to get within 5 ft of them. They were there in almost the same place for 4 or 5 hours and then bedded down behind us. Today's wildlife sighting was a 16 bird flock of wild turkeys. And rain, so we got off the Parkway early to avoid the fog.
Great packages this month, did I miss the hints for mine, now that I'm headed home towards the barn..... :lol: :lol:
