One last picture for the day ...
I made this easy block quilt three years ago when I was still very new to quilting but it is still one of my favorites. I think the pattern was called Short Stacks.
I fell in love with this big pansy fabric from Thimbleberries and had to make a smaller quilt, too, that I hang above the bed as a wallhanging ... and a pillow with the piece I did my practice quilting on. I just did diamond cross hatches with my walking for for this one. I love to make pillows and table runners and such to go with all my quilts.
I just put this back on the bed yesterday and you can see my quilty helper ... she is my daughter's cat and her name is Butterfly ... was also very happy to have it back and did the "look at me and take my picture" thing again ...
