Oh bummer! I get most of mine from when we do our distributions once a month. We break everything down into smaller bags. I also put a post on Craigslist and Freecycle asking for pet and livestock feed bags. I have one lady that brings me all the feed bags from her livestock, though they are rather blah.

Once a month my husband and I do a big loop around the Charlotte area picking up donations of all kinds of stuff that would end up in the landfill. 5 gallon buckets, kitty litter buckets, feed bags, all kinds of things that we can use to break down the 30 gallon trash cans of pet food we have. Folks are really nice when you offer to find a use for things they throw in the trash. We've got a few that give up people food along with the recycle items. Our clients are poorer than poor. A can of soup and a warm blanket has brought a man to tears. I remind myself everytime I do this, "If not for the grace of God......................"

Thanks for all your kind words
