Save your money and only buy really good fabric has been my motto after getting burned on "cheap" or "inexpensive" choices at places like Hobby Lobby, WalMart, etc. But I would also suggest it makes a difference in what you're making. I'm a hand quilter and don't want to invest that time and love into inferior quality. Also, poor quality fabric is also harder to piece!
