Just wanted to add: My finger sweats also, in this thimble. I have done this for years........... Each time I run out of thread on my needle and have to add more thread, I take my thimble off and lay it down while I am re-threading. (It gives the tip of my finger a little breather). Put the thimble back on until, I run out of thread again in the needle. Repeat.... each time. This seems to help me with the sweating problem.
