My indispensable rulers are my 3.5x18, shape cut, and 6.5x6.5. To me 6x24 just seems awkward. I have a 24x36 mat, but prefer to fold my fabric one more time and use the smaller rulers. Yeah....ME! I never use my 24" either. My favorites are the 6½ x 6½ and the 6 x 12. Next in line are the 15 square and the 6½ x 18. Without any one of these, I couldn't quilt! :-)
