Got my first one with my first Bernina. Simply could not get the hang of it. Or maybe the coordination. Hard to teach old dogs new tricks. Then got into the decorative stitches and needed both hands on the fabric. Tried the knee lift and after awhile, it became 2nd. nature. Also have it on my Janome 6500. I can't say I love it but do find it very useful in many places.
