I had a Husqvarna Viking with pivot lift. It was wonderful! However, I prefer the stitch accuracy of Janome, so was willing to forego the pivot for perfection. The knee lift on the Janome does what the pivot did on HV. I'm in heaven! My 7700 sews perfectly every time!
Since I'm not perfect, I need a machine that makes me look better!
