it woudl depend on how much I wanted THAT machine and how good of a conditino itis , for me... if I want it I want it!! but as with others... I'd explain the cost of materials and ask her to purchse the fabric/batting and get full discussion aheado f time on what she expects... make sure she understands u are not a commercial quilter and there for it will not be perfect. I'm sure something can be worked out
