I made a lovely Crossroads to Jericho quilt for my Mother and all
of the black squares in the quilt shredded after the 2nd washing. I made the quilt in 1993, the black fabric was Kona cotton bought at the local quilt shop. I was just horrified, but alas..the quilt is now unusable. I feel your pain.
