Anyway I sashed with a dark color to sort of calm it down and tied rather than quilted. It is a true utility quilt. I would take it on a picnic or to the beach. But not a quilt show. It sure is snuggley warm on these cool fall evenings. A lot of fun to make.
It has a mosaic look, I think it is beautiful...I would be so proud to hang that one over my couch =) We definitely need more of the quilts you can actually USE, rather than the ones that are too pretty to touch.
