You can use a variety of sizes for your squares. I made one with 3 1/2 inch squares. Then if the pattern on the print needed more I used a multiple of this size like a 6 1/2 X3 1/2 or a 6 1/2 by 6 1/2 and I even have a few 9 1/2 by 3 1/2. Br arranging thise strategically you end up with a super looking quilt. My favorite ever I saw on a calander and the quilt was by Becky Goldmith.
