Yes! We used it for the short time that we had it. We had it for about 6 months before we took it to a Treadle-On TOGA in Texas and it went home with another lady to be her hand crank machine. Here’s a photo of my wife using it to piece quilt blocks in our booth at the local County Fair. I hadn’t gotten the crank re-painted yet.

All I did was make a notch in the original solid hand wheel for the crank “finger”.
