Yes, I have that on all my Vikings and love it, but sewing with fleece or flannel, you still get a little shifting and stretching of the top layer. The multi-purpose walking foot is a godsend for that. I keep it on one machine all the time. I think once you get used to using the walking foot, you will find you can't be without it. We all get used to doing things a certain way, and are hesitant to try new ways.
