I've always said that I don't want that shiny fabric stuff in my coffin -- bury me with a quilt! I do like the idea of using a quilt rather than flowers. We had some flowers when my husband died, but my favorite is a three-foot tall cactus that my son-in-law sent as a reminder of when we lived in Vegas.
A quilt display would be so much warmer than flowers!
