Wow thats an amazing price for the machine I paid more for my Bernina, friends can't believe how much the machine cost. I tell them I don't see any sense in men paying thousands of dollars on golf clubs, or hockey gear, or any of their other hobbies. I tell them I paid to have a machine that I won't have to do upgrades to later on down the road its an investment in me.
Someone once said, "I know someone who bought a very expensive boat and uses it 3 times in the summer and then it sat in storage all winter. At least a quilting machine I can use year round". So that is what I say now when people comment that they think it is a lot of money to spend on something.
