While it may be expensive to ship an entire machine, is it something you could possibly post and sell parts off? Kind of the last effort before tossing it entirely if there's no one who wants the whole thing. Some parts can be hard to come by that others fixing up Whites are looking for and would be easy to ship. I know I'm still looking for one of the "t-shirt" plates and some other parts for one of my fixer-upper machines. I hate to see a useable old machines trashed too--hope you find it a home!
